Men’s Fitness Shorts

We think it is safe to say we can all think of a time where we had the wrong type of fitness shorts on for our workout.

Maybe we get to the gym and decide to engage in an intense strength training session instead of running on the treadmill as planned. Hey, it happens! But it sure is nice when we have the perfect pair on for our workout. Here, we are focusing in on men’s fitness shorts and how to nail down the perfect pair for your specific workout.

It is important to not only choose the right materials, but also find the right fit for you and your workout. Workout shorts come in all types of fabrics, from natural materials to synthetics. Each fabric has its own set of PROS and CONS. You want to consider things like the climate you are working out in. Do you need a material that is sweat-wicking? Do you need a fabric that is uniquely built to spread moisture and keep you dry? How about a fabric that is breathable, lightweight, and easy to clean? Check out these shorts that meet these criteria. Some workouts require our shorts to move with us. Think yoga, or other forms of strength training. Consider workout shorts with a four-way stretch such as these shorts. Some of us sweat A LOT. The gym is not always the cleanest place to be. With these things in consideration, you may be looking for a pair of fitness shorts that have antimicrobial properties.

Do you need a short that is fitted or do you prefer a short that is long and loose? This all really depends on your comfortability. A more compressed fit is less prone to moving around when you’re in a very active work-out. However, some athletes feel a bit more relaxed and at ease when training in a looser-fit pair of shorts. There are relaxed-fit shorts with liners. You can prevent chaffing while feeling supported and comfortable with a tight, stretchy fit and sweat-wicking technology.

Finding the right pair of fitness shorts does not have to be a challenge. Having options available in your very own closet for your next workout is a great idea. Once you consider the material and the fit that will best support you and your workout, the problem is solved!
