WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WORKOUT?

My favorite workout is a whole-body workout that consists of kettlebell exercises, boxing, and floor work.

DO YOU TAKE ANY PRE-WORKOUT MIXES OR HAVE A PRE-WORKOUT MEAL?

I do take pre-workout for the caffeine kick. And my favorite recovery meal is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE POST WORKOUT MEAL?

It’s always a protein shake, some complex carbs- like sweet potatoes or pasta, some protein, and something green!

WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO RECOVER AFTER A WORKOUT LIKE BOXING?

Stretch, water, foam rolling, and I’d recommend a sports massage every couple of weeks.

WHY IS FUNCTIONAL TRAINING THE IDEAL WORKOUT?

Functional training incorporates more of the body and a lot of the moves done in these workouts mirror real life movements. You use more than just one muscle group to live in everyday life and this allows you strengthen all of your body instead of just one particular area. The more functional the training is, the more functional your body is.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

Boxing is more than just fitness. I’ve noticed this has more of a community feel and what we provide people is overall wellness. Wellness meaning not just physical fitness, but also mental and emotional. We instill confidence in people here as well as help promote it in themselves. Whether its stress relief or just somewhere to go, people are smiling, know your name, and we just want to hang out with you.
