Boxing Tools

To become a boxer, you’ll need a few things…

Gloves: You’ll need a set of gloves or tape to help protect your wrists, knuckles, and fingers for each punch thrown. It’ll provide cushion and stability for your hand to help protect both you, and the person you’re boxing with.

Griped Shoes: You’ll want a set of shoes that provide great support for your ankles and help you be light on your feet. You may be boxing with your arms and hands but being quick on your feet can help you maneuver around the ring and around your opponent.

Trainer: It would be recommended to have a guide or trainer if you’re a newbie in the ring. This person can help you learn the proper forms and sets that an online video tutorial can’t get into detail about. They can help provide detailed, and personalized notes on each workout that’d be best for you and even be a strong supporter/motivator on the road to your goals.

Sportsmanship & Good Attitude: If you can’t handle being knocked down countless times in the beginning, then this may not be the sport for you. It’ll take a lot of time, practice, and patience to become the pro you wish to be. And if you can keep your cool and stay motivated, then you have beat the first hurdle in your journey to be a strong boxer.
