Baby It’s Cold Outside, So Stay In

As winter creeps in, chances are you probably find yourself stuck to the couch more than usual. Not wanting to brave the cold and elements does not mean you can’t still stay active. A home workout might be your best bet for maintaining some balance while feeling cooped up. Working out at home for few minutes not only keeps you fit, but it gives you a much-needed break from life’s other stressors. With minimal equipment needed and no commute, you could get an entire workout completed over your lunch break!

Level Red Boxing offers the best at-home workouts that you can perform with or without equipment.  LRB Virtual offers full body boxing inspired workouts led by real LRB motivators! Today we want to highlight Mikenzi’s Virtual Dirty 30, in which you can expect to burn about 300 calories in 30 minutes. As with all LRB’s workouts, equipment is optional, but if you want to level up your workout you can incorporate a medicine ball or kettle ball and hand weights. Here’s what you can expect from this Dirty Thirty workout!

Round 1: This is a 3-minute boxing round comprised of different jab combos.

Round 2: This is an 8-minte HITT round that includes two rounds of the following exercises: single leg hops, squat thrusting jumps, alternating arm and leg lifts, push-ups, speed skater, and double arm forward lunge presses.

Round 3: Is another 3-minute boxing round including jab combos, 50 speed upper cuts, freestyle boxing combos, speed jab crosses, and some speed jab crosses.

Round 4: Is another 8-minute HITT round including 2 rounds of the following exercise sequence: reverse lunges, push-ups, medicine ball squat and pulse, and weighted jump squats.

Round 5: We have our third 3-minute boxing round consisting of a variety of various jab combos.

Round 6: We finish off with 10 solid minutes of core work.
